Time is running out to support the Elgin-St. Thomas Community Foundation’s 100’s of People Who Care.
The foundation is looking for the participation of compassionate individuals who are willing to commit $100 each, together raising thousands of dollars for local charities.
Because as Executive Director Natasha Newby notes, they’re hoping for bigger and better with a rebrand from 100 People Who Care to “100’s of People Who Care.”
It’s a follow up to the incredible success they had last year adds Newby, with the hope of raising a record breaking total on what will be the 10th anniversary of the campaign.
And Newby explains how the community impact of this event extends far beyond a donation.
All contributors of 100’s of People Who Care will be invited to join the Elgin-St. Thomas Community Foundation on Tuesday, December 3rd to learn about the incredible work being done by the local charities.
You’ll have the chance to understand their programs, their impact on the community, and the pressing needs they’re addressing notes Newby.
The 2024 Presenting Charities are:
- Elgin County Museum
- Every Kid Rox
- Christmas Care
- Ignite Youth Centre
- Wellspring
