With many residents planning to celebrate the end of 2024 by ringing in the New Year with friends and family, you are reminded that Railway City Transit will once again be offering free New Year’s Eve service.
The bus service will be available from 5:45 p.m. on December 31st until 2:45 a.m. on New Year’s Day, with last pick up being 2:15.
The free rides consist of a demand-responsive transit service that will pick up from a requested bus stop and drop off at another stop on the bus system. Full details here.
City council also approved the suspension of the overnight parking restriction enforcement, giving overnight guests a place to park on January 1st.
