With Family Day coming up on Monday (February 17), here’s what’s open and closed across St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks will be closed on Monday.
Grocery stores, including Walmart, the Real Canadian Superstore, Foodland, FreshCo, Food Basics, Metro and M&M Food Market will be closed.
Both the LCBO and Beer Store will remain closed on Family Day, but a reminder that a number of convenience stores across St. Thomas-Elgin now carry alcohol.
Briwood Farm Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All businesses will return to normal hours beginning on Tuesday, February 18.

At this time, indoor plans may be the way to go as Environment Canada is predicting a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 percent chance of flurries and a high of minus 8.
