A 20-year-old St. Thomas man was arrested Saturday night after a weapon complaint at a southside residence.
Members of the Critical Incident Response Team along with the Criminal Investigations Branch responded just after 6:30 where an individual had been threatened with a weapon.
The suspect was taken into custody near the residence following a traffic stop.
The weapon was not recovered and police eventually searched the complaint residence.
The accused is charged with:
- Uttering threats
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace
- 2 counts of failing to comply with a probation condition
The man was held in custody pending an appearance in Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court.
