As of 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, February 23rd, Southwestern Public Health has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory that was in effect for all users of the Southwold Water Supply.
Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Ninh Tran advises that the advisory, issued due to a watermain break in the Township of Southwold last week has been rescinded.
Recent water samples have been taken with satisfactory results, however it is recommended that you run your taps for 5 minutes to flush them out.
If you have any further questions, you are urged to contact the Environmental Health Department at Southwestern Public Health at 1-800-922-0096.
