With the Easter long weekend approaching, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings and offices in both St. Thomas and Elgin county are closed for the long weekend but will reopen beginning Tuesday (April 22).
Canada Post, banks and federal services like Service Canada will be closed on both Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Grocery stores will all be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday but will be open on Saturday and Easter Monday.
Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will remain open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Friday and Sunday.
Briwood Farm Market will also remain open on Friday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Monday.
The LCBO will be closed Friday, Sunday and Monday but will be open Saturday, with the Beer Store closed Friday and Sunday and open both Saturday and Monday.
