St. Thomas Police have issued a warrant for a 45-year-old city resident following a break and enter at a home on the city’s south side.
The investigation began when a homeowner returned to find their door open, belongings disturbed, and items missing. Officers say some mail not belonging to the homeowner was left behind at the scene — and it turned out to be addressed to the suspect.
With the help of witness statements and evidence collected, police were able to identify the individual, now facing a charge of break and enter.
The suspect is currently wanted by police.
