The Aylmer Police Service has officially reintroduced its bicycle patrols for the spring and summer seasons, with officers hitting the streets and trails as of last week.
Designed to enhance visibility and accessibility, the bike patrols allow officers to better connect with the public and respond more quickly in areas not easily accessible by cruiser — including parks, trails, and busy pedestrian zones.
The initiative is part of the service’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and public safety during the warmer months.
Residents can expect to see officers on two wheels throughout the season as part of their regular patrol routines.
