With the May long weekend on the horizon, the Kinsmen Club of St. Thomas is back with its largest fundraiser of the year.
Their 48 foot long fireworks trailer has returned to the Geerlinks Home Hardware parking lot, with sales underway through May 19th.
The purchase of these fireworks help funds stay in the community and assist with local events such as Canada Day fireworks and the annual Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt.
Residents who purchase fireworks are reminded to follow all by-law rules and guidelines outlined and enforced by the St. Thomas Fire Department and the City of St. Thomas, which states fireworks can only be set off 2 days before and after both Victoria Day and Canada Day.
The St. Thomas Kinsmen Fireworks trailer, located in the Geerlinks Home Hardware parking lot, 295 Wellington St., will be open on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to dusk, Thursday 2 p.m. to dusk., Friday 12 p.m. to dusk, Saturday/Sunday 9 a.m. to dusk and Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fireworks can also be ordered online through the Kinsmen website, with next day pick up available.
