The St. Thomas Police Service is joining police forces across the country in marking National Police Week, May 11th to 17th – with the theme for 2025 being “Committed to Serve Together.”
The annual campaign aims to strengthen public awareness and foster stronger relationships between police and the communities they serve.
This year’s theme emphasizes collaboration—not only within law enforcement agencies, but also among first responders and community members. The goal is to build safer, more inclusive neighbourhoods through open dialogue, mutual respect, and shared responsibility for public safety.
The St. Thomas Police Service says it remains committed to working hand-in-hand with residents to create a community where everyone feels valued and protected.
