With the Victoria Day long weekend approaching, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks will be closed on Monday.
Grocery stores, including Walmart, the Real Canadian Superstore, Foodland, FreshCo, Food Basics, and Metro in St. Thomas will be closed.
The LCBO will remain closed on Victoria Day, but the Beer Store in St. Thomas will be open.
Those needing any last minute items on Monday can stop by…
- Briwood Farm Market from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Foodland Port Stanley from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Howe’s Farm Market & Bakery at 11143 Highbury Ave S. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Beer Store in St. Thomas from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Lynhurst Esso and Variety from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Canadale Nurseries from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You are reminded that a fireworks display hosted by the Malahide Firefighter’s Association South Station will be taking place Sunday in Port Bruce. You can also visit myFM’s “The 48” for more on what’s taking place over the long weekend.
