The health units is reminding residents who rely on well water to submit a new sample for testing.
Water quality can change throughout the year, especially after flooding, heavy rains, or snow thaws.
Because of this, Southwestern Public Health recommends that residents test their well water three times per year.
Well water testing bottles can be picked up at a number locations across St. Thomas and Elgin county, and dropped off at SWPH.
This is a free service offered to those with residential water wells to test for E. coli bacteria and other coliforms.
