Residents of St. Thomas and Elgin County are invited to take part in an important public discussion about homelessness on Monday, June 16th.
The event, titled “Coming Together: A Community Conversation on Understanding Homelessness,” will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the CASO Station.
The evening will feature keynote speaker Iain De Jong, a nationally recognized Canadian expert and author known for his direct and passionate approach to ending homelessness. De Jong will explore how communities across the country, including St. Thomas, can respond to homelessness—from national strategy to grassroots action.
Organizers say the free session is an opportunity for community members to gain insights, ask questions, and discover ways they can be part of the solution.
The event is presented in partnership by St. Thomas-Elgin Social Services, the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce, and the CASO Station.
Registration is free and to reserve a spot- click here.
