The St. Anne’s Community Festival returns to St. Thomas for its 52nd year, bringing “4 Days of Family Fun” to the city from June 4th to 7th.
Festivalgoers can enjoy classic midway rides and games, live entertainment, loonie bingo, a 50/50 raffle, auctions and more.
Those looking to save on ride access can purchase discounted Pay-One-Price Ride Wristbands in advance through the World’s Finest Shows website until June 3rd. Wristbands will also be available for purchase on-site, though at a higher price.
New this year are enhanced safety measures and revised guidelines aimed at ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere. Controlled entrances, increased security presence and limits on bag sizes will be in place. All large bags will be screened for prohibited items such as alcohol, drugs, and weapons.
Admission will be by donation, with organizers asking for either a non-perishable food item or a $3–$5 contribution per person or family upon entry.
In a shift to make the event more kid-focused, organizers have eliminated outdoor beer tents. Adults can still enjoy bingo, raffles, auctions, and licensed alcoholic beverages indoors only.
The St. Anne’s Community Festival will run Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 20 Morrison Drive.
