With Canada Day celebrations across the city and county sneaking up quickly, myFM is continuing our coverage of local events.
Similar to the Township of Southwold, the Village of Port Stanley will celebrate on June 30th, with a spectacular fireworks show from the berm.
The free event will see the fireworks launched at dusk, offering a dazzling display over the lake as the community kicks off celebrations for Canada’s 158th birthday.
The show is made possible thanks to the generosity of a Central Elgin resident and is being organized in partnership with the Municipality of Central Elgin.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive early, find a great viewing spot, and enjoy an evening by the water as the sky lights up in celebration of Canada Day.
More information on the celebration is set to be shared by the Municipality of Central Elgin.
