The St. Thomas Stars have added a major piece to their offensive future with the signing of 16-year-old forward Myles Dunn.
The Lambeth native brings both scoring power and high-end potential to the lineup, fresh off a standout season with the Elgin Middlesex Canucks U16 AAA team.
Dunn recorded an impressive 41 goals and 37 assists in 64 games and was selected in the 8th round (157th overall) by the Sarnia Sting in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Dunn, who was an affiliated player with the Stars last season and suited up for one game, says the close-to-home environment and welcoming culture made the decision to sign in St. Thomas an easy one.
He’s excited to make the jump to junior hockey, but knows he’ll need to adjust to the faster pace and physicality of the GOJHL.
Dunn recently competed in the OHL Cup, scoring twice and showing he can rise to the occasion against top talent.
Describing himself as a fast, physical two-way forward who thrives on putting pucks in the net, Dunn models his game after Toronto Maple Leafs winger Matthew Knies.
With a strong work ethic and natural scoring touch, Dunn is expected to make an immediate impact in St. Thomas as he continues his development.
The team is entering a bold new chapter as our Junior B hockey club also unveiled a revamped coaching staff. This includes former NHLer and Stanley Cup champion Jason Williams, who takes over as head coach, filling the void left by Dave Matsos. More on that announcement can be found here.
