The St. Thomas Stars have added another promising young talent to their roster with the signing of Logan Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 184-pound forward from Barrie, Ontario.
At just 16 years old — turning 17 ahead of the 2025-26 season — Jackson brings both size and offensive skill to the Stars’ lineup. He spent last season with the Barrie Colts U18 AAA team, where he tallied 19 goals and 27 assists over 62 games in the U18 AAA league.
Jackson also made an impact in the OMHA U18 division, scoring 11 goals and adding 16 assists in just 19 games.
His strong play caught the attention of the Ontario Hockey League, and he was selected 302nd overall in the 15th round of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection by the London Knights.
The Stars are looking to Jackson to bring physicality and scoring depth as the team continues to build a competitive core for the upcoming GOJHL season.
The Stars continue to round out their roster ahead of the 2025-26 season, following the unveiling of a revamped coaching staff. This includes former NHLer and Stanley Cup champion Jason Williams, who takes over as head coach, filling the void left by Dave Matsos. More on that announcement can be found here.
