After a brief closure due to extreme heat, all sports fields in St. Thomas have officially reopened as of Wednesday.
The city announced the update after the heat warning was lifted, allowing regular field use to resume.
However, residents are reminded to stay hydrated and play smart as temperatures remain warm.
The closure had affected multiple leagues, including the St. Thomas Soccer Club, St. Thomas Minor Baseball, and both Men’s and Women’s Slo-Pitch, all of which can resume play.
