For more than a decade now, the Nostalgia Nights Classic Car Show has brought vintage charm and community spirit to downtown St. Thomas — and the tradition continues this Saturday.
Running from 4 to 9 p.m., the beloved event hosted by the St. Thomas Downtown Development Board will see Talbot Street—between Ross and Elgin—transformed into a vintage vehicle showcase.
There’s no registration required, and owners are welcome to simply cruise in and park in the designated areas with help from event volunteers, explains Sarah Lynch, Downtown Development and Engagement Officer with the St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation.
Alongside the impressive car collection, the day includes live tribute bands on the Magna-sponsored main stage at City Hall, a 50/50 draw and a vintage-themed vendor market notes Lynch.
New this year are two Chill & Cheer stations, adds Lynch, thanks to the support of a couple of community partners.
Families can also take part in several community-led fundraisers, such as the Car Smash in support of The INN, plus another fun addition for 2025.
Also returning is the Canadian Bombshell Beauties Pageant, set for around 5 p.m. at the main stage, offering a fun, vintage flair to the evening.
One of the event’s most popular offerings, free hourly train rides on the L&PS line, will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets are first-come, first-served and available starting at noon at Railway City Tourism (605 Talbot Street).
Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a music lover, or just looking for a fun evening out, Nostalgia Nights promises something for everyone.
