Today: The St. Thomas Police Service is inviting kids to lace up their running shoes and beat the summer slump as their free Boredom Busters events return. Today: Around the World in 7 Wednesdays is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get ready to travel around the world this summer! Each week you can visit a different country, play games and complete challenges.

Today: “Liars At A Funeral” takes the stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre July 16th- August 2nd! A brilliantly penned modern farce full of grudges, curses, secrets, and hilarity. The whole family has been reunited for Grandma Mavis’s funeral, only to be trapped in a funeral home due to an ice storm. Today: Running every Wednesday from July 16 to August 27th, is “Ready, Set, High School” hosted by the Ignite Youth Centre. It will feature eight themed group workshops, one-on-one coaching, and a special back-to-school celebration on September 17th. Full details can be found here.
Today:Ignite Youth Centre is inviting youth ages 10 to 15 to roll up their sleeves and sharpen their kitchen skills with “Chefs in Training”, a beginner-friendly cooking program running every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 9, 16, 23 and 30. More details here.

Tomorrow: Tech Talk returns to the St. Thomas Public Library and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
Tomorrow: Muggle Mischief takes place each Thursday throughout July and August at the Ignite Youth Centre! Each week from 5 to 7 p.m., dive into a different book in the series, enjoy themed games, crafts, snacks, and activities that bring the magic to life. More details here!
Tomorrow: In partnership with YWCA St. Thomas Elgin Settlement Services, the St. Thomas Public Library will be hosting an English Conversation Circle on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Come practice your conversational English and meet new people in your community! Learn English speaking skills for daily purposes such as attending a job interview, visiting the doctor and much more!
Tomorrow: Chat, then Chill: Your Independent Reading Club is taking place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Thomas Public Library. In the first half hour, chat and share what books you’re reading. Then, enjoy an hour of quiet reading together.
