A 50-year-old city resident is facing a number of charges following an investigation into possible child abuse.
St. Thomas Police were contacted by a community agency which prompted involvement of the Criminal Investigations Branch.
The accused has been charged with four counts of assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.
They were released with conditions and a future court date.
