Today: The St. Thomas Police Service 2025 Back to School, School Supply Drive takes place Tuesday, August 12 at the St. Thomas Walmart (1063 Talbot Street) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Officers and community partners will be on site collecting new school supplies for students in need. Learn more here!
Today:Tuesday Tales is taking place at the St. Thomas Public Library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join the library team for a terrific time of telling tales! And yes–there will be singing too!
Today: The St. Thomas Public Library is hosting Lego Club on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Join in for an afternoon of Lego creation. Try the weekly challenge or just build free-style!
Today: “The Kitchen Witches” takes the stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre August 6th- 23rd! Saucy chefs Dolly and Isobel have their own live cable-access cooking shows, each with dwindling ratings. So, what could possibly go wrong if they joined forces? EVERYTHING! More details here!
Today: Middle Makers is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the theme is Watermelon Pop-it! Middle Makers is a chance for 8 – 12 year-olds to meet, explore what the library has to offer, and participate in a fun activity!
Tomorrow: The St. Thomas Police are helping families beat that summer time boredom with their latest community event. Join our local officers Wednesday, August 13th from 10 a.m. to noon for the free Boredom Busters, featuring youth pick up basketball, road hockey and soccer in the parking lot of the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
Tomorrow: Around the World in 7 Wednesdays is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get ready to travel around the world this summer! Each week you can visit a different country, play games and complete challenges.
Tomorrow: Join the STEAM Centre for an Outdoor Art Experience on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Westlake Evans Park. More details here.
Tomorrow: Running every Wednesday from July 16 to August 27th, is “Ready, Set, High School” hosted by the Ignite Youth Centre. It will feature eight themed group workshops, one-on-one coaching, and a special back-to-school celebration on September 17th. Full details can be found here.
