Canadian Blood Services is putting out an urgent call for O-negative blood donors this summer.
We spoke with Debbi Barfoot, Community Development Manager, who explains why O-negative is most needed.
The national supply is stable for now, but they carefully track blood inventory levels across Canada. When certain blood types fall below target, donors are asked to step up.

The next blood donation event taking place in St. Thomas is coming up on September 10th at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. Appointments can be made through the GiveBlood app or at blood.ca.
