Not sure where the time has gone, but the last long weekend of the summer is upon us!
With that, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County on Labour Day.
All municipal buildings, offices, Canada Post, as well as banks, will be closed on Monday.
Grocery stores, including Foodland St. Thomas, FreshCo, Food Basics, No Frills, Metro, Miller’s Your Independent Grocer, M&M Food Market, the Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart will also be closed.
Both Briwood Farm Market and Foodland in Port Stanley will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, with Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street operating from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Shoppers at First and Elm from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Beer Store and LCBO in St. Thomas will be closed on Labour Day, however Lynhurst Esso & Variety will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., including for the purchase of alcohol.
Also, 94.1 myFM will not be publishing regular news on Monday, but will resume our normal coverage Tuesday.
