A late-night traffic stop in Aylmer led to the seizure of several types of drugs valued at $7,000.
Police say just after 2 a.m. on August 30, an officer stopped a speeding vehicle on Bradley Creek Lane.
Cannabis was spotted in plain view, prompting a search under the Cannabis Control Act. Officers then located fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, and codeine inside the vehicle.
A 36-year-old female driver and a 17-year-old passenger were arrested and jointly charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The youth was released on an undertaking, while the woman was remanded into custody following a bail hearing.
