Perhaps better known during the summer as an idyllic outdoor wedding venue, The Clearing this Saturday will echo to the award-winning music of country artists Jamie Warren and Genevieve Fisher (pictured below).
Located north of Shedden, The Clearing provides the perfect setting for this all ages event branded, Good Sports Pitching In For Kids Minor Baseball.
Owner Sandy Vachon explains the motivation behind the tribute concert in memory of local ball players Nelson Walker and Tommy Arnold.
Not to be outdone, Vachon has baseball in her blood.
Likewise, Warren has a story or two he can recount about members of his family.
So, what’s in store for country music fans on Saturday? Vachon has the lineup of events.
In addition to the concert, Vachon notes there will be prize draws and food and drinks available to make it an enjoyable evening for the whole family.
