Today: The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is returning to St. Thomas on Wednesday, September 10th, with local police inviting the community to come out and cheer on our athletes. The run will begin at the west end of the city around 10:30 a.m., where officers and personnel from St. Thomas, Aylmer, and Elgin OPP will join Special Olympics athletes for the journey downtown to City Hall. Today: The Teen Advisory Board at the St. Thomas Public Library is a group of teens in grades 9 – 12 who meet once a month from 4 to 5 p.m. to plan and promote exciting programs, talk about ways to make the library a more inclusive space for all teens. Join them on Wednesday!
Today: Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.
Tomorrow: Tech Talk returns to the St. Thomas Public Library and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
Tomorrow: Chat, then Chill: Your Independent Reading Club is taking place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Thomas Public Library. In the first half hour, chat and share what books you’re reading. Then, enjoy an hour of quiet reading together.
Tomorrow: The Harvest Table – Rustic Home Designs is hosting a 10 Year Anniversary Event September 11 – 14th! There will be a Huge Fall Open House, sales, workshops and giveaways happening all weekend at the new location- 1258 Talbot Street Unit B.
