St. Thomas is set to once again benefit from the annual TD Tree Days, with volunteers working to enhance the green space in one of the city’s newest parks.
The event on Saturday, September 20th at Orchard Park on Empire Parkway, is part of TD Friends of the Environment Foundation’s 15th annual tree-planting program, which aims to plant 30,000 trees and shrubs nationwide in 2025.
Local volunteers, including TD employees and community groups, will kick off the day at 9 a.m., and there is still time to get involved. Those interested in volunteering can sign up online, though minimal spots do remain.
TD Tree Days partners with municipalities, conservation authorities, and not-for-profits across Canada to make these projects possible.
