A 54-year-old St. Thomas woman has been charged after a lengthy fraud investigation by Aylmer Police.
Over a period of time, Kathryn Zehr allegedly defrauded an individual out of nearly $1.2 million.
She was arrested Sept. 30 and charged with fraud over $5,000, possession of a forged document and unlawful use of a credit card.
She was released with conditions and will appear in St. Thomas court next month.
Aylmer Police believe there may be other victims.
