Throughout October, the Thames Valley District School Board is highlighting ways for students, families, and school communities to stay safe online as part of Cyber Security Awareness Month.
The Board is providing teachers with classroom resources to guide discussions about cybersecurity and safe online habits.
“Cybersecurity threats represent a real danger for everyone in our board,” said Bill Tucker, Director of Education. “That’s why we have resources available to help schools and our school communities stay safe.”
Families can also access helpful online resources, including materials from the Education Collaborative Network of Ontario, Cyber Security Ontario, and the Government of Canada’s Get Cyber Safe program.
