Aylmer Police have charged two men in separate incidents last week for alcohol-related offences.
On Tuesday afternoon, an officer on patrol spotted a 47-year-old Springfield man outside a local grocery store openly consuming alcohol. He was issued a ticket under the Liquor Licence and Control Act.
Then on Thursday, October 9th, just before 1 p.m., the Deputy Chief encountered a 44-year-old Aylmer man drinking and intoxicated on the walking trail at Balmoral Park. He was also charged under the same Act.
Residents are reminded that consuming alcohol in public spaces is prohibited and can result in charges.
