The Horton Farmers’ Market is gearing up for a morning filled with fall fun as PumpkinFest hits St. Thomas on Saturday, October 25th.
myFM sat down Sarah Noble, Manager of Marketing and Communication with the St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation, to give our listeners a better idea of what to expect.
The special celebration runs from 8 a.m. to noon and features themed vendors, live activities, and plenty of contests for all ages, notes Noble.
Entries for most contests are due by October 21st, with full details and sign-up forms available on the PumpkinFest webpage.
Contest winners are set to receive special ribbons for their work and creativity, as well as a quantity of Market Dollars. And if you’ve never heard of Market Dollars- you aren’t alone!
Noble adds that PumpkinFest is designed to bring that traditional fair feeling into the city — something St. Thomas hasn’t had in recent years.
Visitors can also expect family-friendly games like pumpkin tic-tac-toe, plus a costume contest for all ages.
