It’s Small Business Week and 94.1 myFM is celebrating entrepreneurship across St. Thomas and Elgin County with local profiles each day, presented by Once Upon A Letter.
Today, we spotlight Exteria Brite Commercial Cleaning, founded in 2022 by owners Mark and Lidia Borecki.
And Mark stresses its about more than keeping your place of business clean.
He explains, “Your health and safety are our top priorities. We don’t just clean—we follow Health Canada’s best practice guidelines for infection control and prevention.
“This commitment ensures that we are using the most effective methods and products to sanitize your space and help reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria, protecting your employees and your bottom line.”
The couple bring with them more than 20 years of hands-on experience in cleaning and maintenance, with a focus on healthcare environments.
Mark notes you can never completely stop the spread of flu and other respiratory ailments, “But if businesses or places of work are actually cleaned properly, you can slow it down quite a bit.”
He advises, they are committed to a client’s complete satisfaction. Their thorough approach includes creating a custom Standard Operating Procedure for every client. This ensures that every room and every surface is cleaned exactly to a client’s specifications, leaving no detail to chance.
As an example Mark talks about touch points, areas where many people may touch the same door or light switch.
He has a tip for individuals regarding their work space and how to leave it at the end of a work day to make cleaning easier and more thorough.
All work is performed after hours, Mark notes. “So we start anywhere from four in the afternoon and we go right through till morning.”
Mark relays the company’s core values.
“We prioritize customer needs and satisfaction by building strong, long-term relationships and consistently exceeding their expectations.
“And, we strive for the highest quality in every service we deliver. We are committed to continuous improvement, paying meticulous attention to detail and focusing on precision in all our work.”
