Today: Baby Storytime is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This storytime is designed for babies and their caregivers to explore early literacy through gentle stories, songs, and rhymes. Start your reading journey together in a cozy, welcoming environment. *Please note: this program is exclusively for babies who cannot walk yet.
Today: Grown-Up Storytime is being hosted at the St. Thomas Public Library on Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. Take a midday break and join staff for Grown-Up Storytime, an escape where they read aloud a short story.
Today: Railway City Brewing Co. has live music every Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tomorrow: The Horton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon! You can now stop by every Saturday through November 1st to shop the fresh and local foods as well as endless creations from the talented artisans.
Tomorrow: The Old Imperial Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Aylmer! It’s a family-friendly, year-round, indoor Farmers’ Market that celebrates, supports, and showcases the best of what our community has to offer.
Tomorrow: The annual Central United Church Bazaar is taking place Saturday, November 1st from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Full details here.
Tomorrow: Saturday Stories goes from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the St. Thomas Public Library. Join staff each Saturday for storytime, which is full of active songs and stories!
Tomorrow: A Story Makers’ Workshop is running at the St. Thomas Public Library from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Story Makers is for little ones ages 4 – 7 who love to create stories. It’s less focused on writing words and more about using various ‘loose parts’ to imagine! Kids will explore different stations full of creative materials to shape their stories. Registration is required.
Tomorrow: The Holy Angels Harvest Gala goes Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Anne’s Centre. This is a community event to raise funds to maintain the historic Holy Angels Church. There will be food stations, a dance with a live band, silent and live auctions, 50-50 and a historical slide show. Learn more here.
