With the winter season fast approaching, the City of St. Thomas is preparing for the rollout of the annual Snow Angels Program.
For those unfamiliar, city staff will match up residents in need of snow removal from their property with a local volunteer known as a Snow Angel.
Snow Angels are matched with one or two homes for the season and are asked to clear snow within 24 hours after each snowfall.
At this time, those interested in volunteering to be a Snow Angel can sign up to do so by emailing mayorsoffice@stthomas.ca or calling 519-631-1680 ext. 4196.
The city is also inviting those who are unable to remove snow themselves to do the same, in hopes of being matched.
