A 44-year-old St. Thomas man is facing several charges following an incident early Wednesday morning on Alma Street.
St. Thomas Police were called to the area for reports of an unwanted person threatening residents. When officers arrived, they located the man and charged him with uttering threats.
Further investigation revealed the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000 related to an October shoplifting incident.
Police say the man also caused damage to multiple vehicles in the area, allegedly using a small log to smash windows. He now faces nine counts of mischief.
The accused was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released with a future court date.
