Aylmer Police are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars of copper wire from an Elm Street substation.
Just after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two males broke into the structure and then left a few minutes later leaving the door and gate open.
About an hour later, a van pulled up to the building and three individuals loaded items into the vehicle.
The next day, Aylmer Police were advised of the theft of about $10,000 in copper wire.
Video has been obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
