Here’s what’s going on in St. Thomas and Elgin County over the next 48 hours:
Tomorrow: The Holiday Plates & Bowls with a Brew workshop is taking place at Railway City Brewing Company on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. More details here!
Tomorrow: St. Thomas and Elgin County will join communities across Canada in honouring those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, through Remembrance Day Ceremonies.
Locations include:
- Springfield: Springfield Cenotaph 9:15 a.m.
- St. Thomas: Veterans Memorial Garden 10:40 a.m.
- Aylmer: Parade at 10:45 a.m. from Legion 211 to John St. N, traveling south to Talbot. It will move west to the Aylmer Cenotaph (46 Talbot St. West) for the ceremony.
- Belmont: Belmont Community Park 10:45 a.m.
- Dutton: Cenotaph in Sons of Scotland Park (1 Scotland Street Dutton) at 10:45 a.m.
- Port Stanley: A smaller service will he held at the Cenotaph in Veterans Park at 10:45 a.m.
- West Lorne: West Lorne Cenotaph 10:45 a.m. (In front of Bo Horvat Community Centre)
- Oneida Nation of the Thames: Oneida Community Centre & Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m. (2017 Ball Park Road)
