Ontario’s Minister of Education, Paul Calandra, says new resources are being developed to strengthen how Remembrance Day is taught in schools.
The province already requires schools to hold ceremonies at 11 a.m. and teach students about the significance of November 11th.
Over the next year, educators will receive new high-quality materials to ensure consistent learning across Ontario.
The updated resources will be in place for students beginning November 11th, 2026.
