A beloved holiday tradition is returning to St. Thomas this weekend as First United Church prepares to host the annual Festival of Lessons & Carols on Sunday, November 30, at 7 p.m.
The evening will bring together eight area choirs along with the Railway City Brass Quintet for a community celebration filled with music, readings, and the spirit of the season.
The event takes place at First United Church, located at 7 Curtis Street in St. Thomas.
Organizers say the service offers a “magical evening of music,” showcasing voices and musicians from across local congregations and musical groups.
Admission is by freewill offering, with all proceeds supporting the St. Thomas-Elgin Food Bank.
