All school purpose vehicles serving the Thames Valley District School Board and London District Catholic School Board have been cancelled for the entire day in St. Thomas and Elgin County, due to winter weather conditions.
Additionally, all TVDSB and LDCSB schools and buildings in St. Thomas and Elgin County are closed for the day. London schools remain open.
A Snow Squall Watch remains in effect for the area, as local snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are possible for Thursday.
This could significantly reduce visibility as a result of heavy and local blowing snow.
You’re reminded to always give yourself extra time while driving, and to take it slow if visibility is poor.
