The St. Thomas Police service is hoping the public can identify a suspect in an armed robbery early Monday morning.
Just after 2 a.m., officers were called to a Talbot Street convenience store where a lone male suspect had entered the outlet and attempted to assault an employee before fleeing the store on foot.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as:
Male, wearing a black coat and black toque. Red mittens.
He used a red bandana to cover his face
Investigators have obtained surveillance images and are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to this incident to contact the St. Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1224.
