Mark Borecki and his wife Lidia are encouraging St. Thomas and Elgin business owners to join their Hope and Help Challenge in the week leading up to Christmas.
Through their $1,500 donation they are supporting a trio of community organizations: The St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank, The INN, and The Grace Cafe.
By joining the challenge to give what you can to one or all three of the organizations, you will change a life.
The challenge is simple, as Mark explains.
The seed for the Hope and Help Challenge was planted back in October when he visited the myFM studio for an interview as a small business operator.
He and his wife own Exteria Brite Commercial Cleaning and after leaving the studio, Mark says he was emotionally impacted by something he saw.
And through his challenge, Mark believes, “We can feed families and support those in crisis.”
The help component of the campaign is self-explanatory, however we encouraged Mark to elaborate on the hope factor in the challenge.
He stresses you don’t have to own a business to participate in the Hope and Help Challenge.
You can donate directly to any of the organizations, spread the word to friends and coworkers and encourage your employer to join the challenge.
