An update to a story we ran on Monday.
St. Thomas Police have arrested a city man involved in an armed robbery early Monday morning at a Talbot Street convenience store.
Just before 2:15 a.m., officers were called to the store after a report of a robbery in progress.
A lone male suspect had entered the store wearing a black hoodie and a red bandana covering his face. He attempted to assault an employee before fleeing the store on foot.
Twenty-nine-year-old Adam MacMillan is facing numerous charges:
- Robbery with a weapon
- Disguise with intent
- Six counts of fail to comply with probation order
- Failure to comply with release order
- Failure to comply with undertaking
MacMillan was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for a morning court appearance.
