Two St. Thomas men face drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday night in the area of Talbot and East streets.
Just before 11, officers stopped the vehicle and the 45-year-old passenger was identified as wanted by Middlesex OPP and arrested.
Police searched the vehicle and a quantity of crack cocaine and fentanyl with a street value of more than $31,000 was discovered along with close to $1,000 in cash.
As a result the 64-year-old driver was also arrested.
The following items were seized:
• 25.5 grams of crack cocaine
• 115.9 grams of fentanyl
• Two cellular phones
• $960
The two were each charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – crack cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
