The Railway City Rotary Club is inviting the community to put their knowledge to the test next month, with a new Trivia Night fundraiser aimed at supporting two local organizations.
The event takes place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13th, at the CASO Station, and will feature team-based trivia, prizes, and so much more, explains President-Elect Bryan Vine.
The fundraiser is designed to be both competitive and social, with up to 25 tables of eight players each. Vine notes that those without a full team are still encouraged to register.
Teams can register for $200 per table, which works out to $25 per person. Vine says the funds raised will directly support local community programs and services that address food security and end-of-life care.
While Trivia Night is the club’s first major fundraiser of 2026, it’s just one part of the Railway City Rotary Club’s broader work in St. Thomas and Elgin County. The club supports a wide range of initiatives, including youth programs, literacy resources, food security efforts, environmental projects, and local social service organizations.
Looking ahead, Vine says the club will also host its annual fish fry fundraiser on May 23rd, one of its longest-running and most successful events.
Registration for Trivia Night is open now, with details available at railwaycityrotary.club.
