St. Thomas police have charged a 32-year-old woman following an incident of alleged intimate partner violence Wednesday evening.
Officers were called to a Queen Street residence after receiving a report that the accused had assaulted her partner and prevented them from leaving during an argument.
The woman faces one count of assault and one count of forcible confinement.
She was taken to police headquarters for processing and later released on an undertaking with a future court date.
