Canada’s largest federal public sector union says the federal labour relations board has dismissed its grievances over unpaid leave for unvaccinated workers during the pandemic.
The Public Service Alliance of Canada had argued the policy amounted to unfair discipline.
The board ruled the vaccination policy fell within the government’s management authority and that unpaid leave was not disciplinary action.
