A 30-year-old man from St. Thomas has been charged following an incident in the city on Monday. Police were at a Miller Street residence for an unrelated matter when they were asked to assist with two individuals who were not allowed on the property.
One of the individuals became verbally aggressive toward officers and building staff, threatened a police officer, and then fled on foot. Officers pursued and arrested him a short distance away.
He faces charges of Uttering Threats to Cause Death, Resisting a Peace Officer, and Failing to Leave Premises When Directed.
The man was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date.
