Elgin OPP are investigating a sudden death early Sunday morning in Central Elgin.
Just before 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual laying on the side of Sunset Drive.
The female was taken to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
Sunset Drive was closed overnight between John Wise Line and Southdale Road.
